It had been a while since we did a proper While_you_were_Sleeping gig, so we thought, why not?.

On a Saturday night in early August, the While_you_were_Sleeping crew took over Room 101 @ Bar Bodega for a night of live local electronica, featuring Pang, Anaesthesia Associates and myself, with DJ support from DJ Mayhem of Active fame, and visuals from VJs Mr J and Yeti.

It was a really enjoyable evening, with the lights turned down low and everybody's gear glowing like it was Christmas :). The two video screens and sprawling technical set-ups of the performers gave Room 101 a cosy feel, with the audience chilling out on comfy sofas at the bar, reminiscent of a ship's galley.

The audio ranged from the cutting-edge minimal German house of DJ Mayhem, to Pang's outings into the world of deep ambience, the upbeat Ninja-tunes styles of A/V outfit Anaesthesia Associates, and the downbeat selections of yours-truly.

I played a little after midnight and managed to stay awake for a full 70 minute set despite only achieving 15 hours of sleep the week before. Will I ever learn not to leave these things until the last minute? Hopefully, but I'm seriously doubtful..

This mix contains some old favourites remixed ('Anti-Glare' & 'Elemental'), some new stuff composed last year ('Innersphere' remix, 'Wake Up'), some even older stuff ('B is for Butterfly') and some material cannibalised from my recent Munt FM live set ('While_you_were_Sleeping 3 Mash-up').

The live mix was edited in 2006 and again in 2019, removing live mix mistakes that had bugged me for the past 14 years!
